Preview

How does the "See more" button work?

The button automatically appears when your post exceeds 5 lines in the preview. Click it to see the full text. On mobile, you can also switch between "Hook only" (first 5 lines) and "Full post" using the dedicated selector.

Preview limitations

The preview is an estimate based on your screen width and the font used. LinkedIn may display your post differently depending on:

  • Screen width (mobile vs desktop);
  • Font and text size activated in your browser;
  • Publication context (group, page, profile).

Tips for a readable hook

To maximize your post's impact:

  • Place your key message in the first 3 lines — this is what most users will see without clicking "See more";
  • Avoid unnecessary line breaks — LinkedIn sometimes removes them or replaces them with spaces;
  • Use emojis sparingly — they catch the eye but can distract from the message.

Trust & Privacy

Privacy and security

Your text stays in your browser. Nothing is sent to our servers, saved, or shared with third parties. You can use the tool offline — it will work perfectly.

Accessibility

The tool is designed to be accessible to everyone:

  • Fully navigable using only the keyboard (shortcuts, tabs);
  • Color contrasts verified for color-blind users and screen readers;
  • ARIA labels for optimal compatibility with assistive technologies.

Local processing and Unicode

Bold and italic formatting uses Unicode characters (Mathematical Sans-Serif block). These characters are supported by LinkedIn, but:

  • Some older browsers (e.g., IE11) may display them incorrectly;
  • LinkedIn's custom fonts may slightly alter the rendering;
  • Always test the preview before publishing.

FAQ

Can I use special characters?

Yes! You can include:

  • Emojis (🚀, ✨, 💡);
  • Symbols (→, •, —, « »);
  • Accented characters (é, è, ç, à).

All these characters will be preserved when copying and will display normally on LinkedIn.

Is it compatible with mobile?

Yes, the tool is optimized for Chrome (Android) and Safari (iOS). On mobile:

  • The interface switches to vertical mode (editor or preview);
  • A fixed action bar at the bottom allows you to copy or switch views at any time;
  • The keyboard does not hide important buttons.

Recommendation: Test copying on your device before publishing, as some mobile browsers may block clipboard access.

How do I copy my text?

Click the "Copy for LinkedIn" button (or "Copy" on mobile). If copying fails:

  • Check that your browser allows clipboard access (security settings);
  • Manually select the text in the editor and use Ctrl+C or Cmd+C.

Are there any limits I should know about?

LinkedIn imposes the following restrictions:

  • Maximum 3,000 characters per post (our counter helps you stay within the limit);
  • Line breaks are limited to 2 consecutive empty lines;
  • Posts that are too long may be truncated in notifications.

Our tool respects these limits and alerts you if you exceed them.

Can I use the tool offline?

Yes! Once the page is loaded, you can disconnect your device and continue using the editor. Your text stays in your browser until you close the tab.

Impressions and clicks (Google) — Not tracked here. Use Google Search Console to measure organic acquisition potential.
Editor start rate — Shows if visitors find the tool useful enough to start typing.
Copy success rate — Measures completion of the primary action (copying text).
Copy errors — Indicates technical reliability issues.
Return rate — Measures recurring value (visitors coming back).
Affiliate clicks/conversions — Not tracked here. Requires an affiliate system (e.g., AdSense, partner links).

Note: These statistics are local to your browser. To see aggregated data across all users, you would need a backend service (e.g., Google Analytics, Plausible, or a custom solution).
